Tozier Engineering, Inc. 2007. P.E., Pres.: Develop customer base, determine project scopes and pricing, write project proposals, and engineer electrical designs. Projects include: 7500 sq. ft. multistory multitenant office building, $4 million home, shopping center parking lot lighting, 3500 sq. ft. custom furniture manufacturing building, emergency generators, fire pumps w/controller and service, and photovoltaic utility interactive power systems.  

Whiting-Turner Contracting Co. 2005 2007.  Project Manager: Managed all aspects of a commercial shopping center renovation including developing pre-qualified bidder lists, bid packages, scopes of work and bid analysis for subcontractor selection. Supervised and facilitated all aspects of construction and implementation of design. Completed project $300,000 under budget while earning client accolades.  Provided technical, code, and permitting consultation to Whiting-Turner project managers and superintendents throughout the State of Florida.  

Engineering Consultant 2004 - 2005.   Performed a range of engineering services including: design reviews, code consulting and permit processing services for commercial and multi-family residential developers. 

Brady & Anglin Consulting Engineers of Florida, Inc.  2003 2004 Electrical Systems Designer designed electrical power distribution and emergency standby systems, fire alarm, lightning protection, and grounding systems as well as overall needs assessments and site audits. Supervised the development of contract drawings and specifications. Performed on site construction progress audits and punch list assessments. Provided engineering solutions to architectural visions. 

City of Tampa 1990 - 2003.    Commercial Electrical and Plumbing Plans Examiner: responsible for review of all commercial and multifamily electrical and plumbing designs for code compliance and accessibility.  Provided support with interpretations of code to City Building Official, Plans Examiners, Inspections Bureau, contractors, design professionals and building owners. Provided training to electrical/plumbing plans examiners. 

United States Marine Corps. Sergeant:  Responsible for: trouble shooting and maintaining the electrical and mechanical ordinance systems of Marine Harrier attack squadron aircraft, the loading and arming of live ordinance as well as the training and supervision of Marines.
